Agriculture Hall of Fame

Enshrinement in to the Agriculture Hall of Fame is the highest recognition awarded for the many outstanding agricultural leaders and farmers of Fulton County. The number of inductees honored each year is at the discretion of the Committee.

Qualification for the selection into the Hall of Fame requires an individual that has been or currently is dedicated to the improvement of American Agriculture.

Candidates come from the ranks of 4-H and F.F.A. advisors, Extension personnel, Farmers, and Agri-business people. Candidates can be male or female, living or deceased, with age being no barrier. Some will have lived and worked their entire lives in Fulton County; others may have only resided or worked in Fulton County for a short period of time.

The Hall of Fame Committee is comprised of representatives from the following local organizations: Fulton County Agricultural Society, Co-op Extension, Vo-Ag, Historical Society, Cattlemen’s Association, Pork Chop Club, Dairy Service Unit, Farm Bureau and the Granges. The Hall of Fame member plaques are on display during the fair in the Jr. Fair Building.

Application forms are available at the Fulton County Extension office and must be returned by July 15.
