WAUSEON (Ohio) – Nothing says summer in Northwest Ohio like the Fulton County Fair. The 162nd Fulton County Fair begins Friday, August 30th and continues through Thursday, September 5th. It has long been considered one of the top five Fairs within the state of Ohio. What makes this fair in rural Wauseon so popular? “It’s the fact that we’ve maintained so many of the traditional fair events and attractions while keeping it affordable,” says Fair Board President, Dennis Wyse. “Not to mention the wonderful food people from far and wide have come to enjoy.”
In addition to delicious fair food, plenty of free entertainment and activities, plus agricultural and livestock competition, Arts & Crafts and Culinary areas, there’s a midway packed with games and rides. Wyse adds, “We are regularly told that we have one of the cleanest, nicest fairgrounds people have ever seen!”
Grandstand entertainment for the 162nd Fulton County Fair includes Classic Rock band, Foreigner on Sunday, September 1st, returning after a sold-out performance during the 2013 Fulton County Fair. Country music star, Granger Smith with Earl Dibbles, Jr. will take the grandstand stage on Labor Day Monday.
