Fulton County Agriculture -HALL OF FAME
Picture plaques of this years inductees are on display in the gazebo south of the Jr Fair Building. Induction into the Agriculture Hall of Fame is the highest recognition awarded for the many outstanding agricultural leaders and farmers of Fulton County. The number of inductees honored each year is at the discretion of the Committee. Qualification for the selection into the Hall of Fame requires an individual that has been or currently is dedicated to the improvement of American Agriculture.
Candidates come from the ranks of 4-H and FFA Advisors, Extension personnel, Farmers, and Agri-business professionals. Candidates are both male and female, living and deceased, with age being no barrier. Some will have lived and worked their entire lives in Fulton County; others may have only resided or worked in Fulton County for a short period of time.
The Hall of Fame Committee is composed of representatives from the following local organizations: Fulton County Agricultural Society, Ohio State University Extension, County Agricultural Educators, and Fulton County Commodity Groups. Application forms are available at go.osu.edu/fultonhof or at the Fulton County Extension Office and must be returned by July 10.
