The Fulton County Fairgrounds offers many options for your special events including a wedding chapel, a fully equipped hall, buildings for your trade show or presentations, and beautiful grounds for areas to play or unique backdrops for your photos.  Whether you’re looking for inside accommodations or outside picnics and events, look no further than the Fulton County Fairgrounds.   We have numerous buildings and areas for you to pick from.  Plenty of paved roads and parking for easy access. And, if you need multiple buildings, we’ll be happy to put a special priced package together for you.

The Fairgrounds is just north of Exit 34 of the Ohio Turnpike and 3 miles from Wauseon where you’ll find grocery and discount stores, restaurants, entertainment, and other shopping.

The Fulton County Fairgrounds offer 645 campsites, all with 30 AMP electric service, clean showers and restrooms, and water. In addition, the Fairgrounds can accommodate numerous food trucks throughout the grounds.

Chapel/Eunice Tedrow Gospel Building

This is the ideal place for your wedding ceremony, educational presentations, or auctions. There is seating for 200, with additional seating with sides open. A platform is in the front of the building.  And it has electric to handle a sound system or other electrical needs. A large parking area is adjacent to the building.

Cost: $300/day or $250/day when bundling with the Jr. Fair Building.

Jr. Fair Building

The hall area is 128’ x 56’; there is a 35’ x 40’ foyer with men and women’s bathroom; a full kitchen (does not include a refrigerator, instead it has a cooler); and 80 – 8’ rectangular banquet tables; 30 – 5’ round tables and 525+ chairs. The building has heating and air conditioning. This is a wonderful area for your reception, corporate or larger event.  It has a large garage door for loading and unloading and is adjacent to a large parking area.
 
Cost: $900/day + $250 refundable deposit per guidelines = $1,150.

Spangler Arena

Located at the south end of the fairgrounds, the arena is 120’ x 200’ with bleachers closed; 120’ x 170’ with bleachers opened. There is a 29’ x 176’ concrete pad in the north end. This building can be used with the side garage doors open or closed. There is a men’s and women’s restroom within the building. This is suitable for numerous events: auctions, vendor fairs, animal shows, large presentations, car shows, and more.
 
Cost: $1,000/day

Sale Arena

110’ x 70’ with permanent bleachers on the east side. There are ample roads and areas to park near the sale arena. This has 2 large sliding doors at the front and back of the building that allow you to easily drive into the building. This is suitable for numerous events: auctions, vendor fairs, animal shows, large presentations, car shows, and more.
 
Cost: $500/day

Poultry Building

Located in the southwest corner, this is one of the favorite buildings for graduation parties, family reunions, and vendor fairs.  In addition to the open area design, the west side leads out into a large grassy area that is perfect for gatherings and games.  The 50’ x 110’ building has a cement floor and electrical outlets thru out the building, this is also a great place to hold potluck dinners and events when camping with a group. There are ample roads and places to park near the poultry building.
 
Cost: $200/day; $250/day with tables & chairs

Hallett Pavilion

This covered picnic area is wonderful for graduation parties, family reunions and a place to gather when camping in a group. The 100’ x 60’ covered area has a cement floor and electrical outlets.  It also comes with plenty of picnic tables. The Hallett Pavilion is in the middle of the fairgrounds and has ample roads and places to park.
 
Cost: $75/day

Veterans’ Pavilion

Located at the northeast end of the Fairgrounds, the covered 100’ x 60’ pavilion is used for a variety of events such as company gatherings, vendor fairs, educational presentations, auctions, family reunions and more. It has a cement floor and is adjacent to a large parking area.
 
Cost: $50/day

Horse Arena Package

The Osthimer Horse arena is a 150’ x 275’ covered arena with bleachers. Rental package includes the office, PA system, track grooming with tractor and driver during event. The adjacent practice arena is also included in the rental fee.
 
Horse Arena Package:  

  • $900/day
  • $1,100 Saturday/Sunday
  • $1,600 Friday/Saturday/Sunday

There are currently 130 full size stalls and 12 smaller “pony” stalls, an additional 22 stalls will be available the summer of 2020.
 
Stall Rental: $15/day if uncleaned; $10/day if cleaned

Grandstand and Track

The Fulton County Fair grandstand has hosted events including national tractor pulls, country and classic rock artists, rodeos, demolition derbies, harness racing, and so much more.  When renting the Grandstand area, the adjacent secretaries office and ticket office is included.

Seating capacity includes:

  • Grandstands: 2,711
  • Bleachers: 220
  • Handicap accessible area: 400
  • Track seating is also an option – approximately 2,700 chairs. (Chairs not included.)

Cost: $2,000/day

Merchants Building #1

This open space building can be used for a variety of events.  It is 160’ x 50’ with a cement floor. It has a large overhead door on the south end, so you can easily load and unload. It has entrances on all sides of the building for great traffic flow. This is in the middle of the fairgrounds, so there are ample roads and areas to park. There is also a large shaded park area to the west of the building.
 
Cost: $100/day

Lower Grandstand Space with Lights

Located directly underneath the grandstands, this is another wonderful area for book fairs, specialty displays, and vendor fairs.  There are women’s and men’s restrooms within the building. Large overhead doors on three sides assists in loading/unloading as well as traffic flow.
 
Cost: $350/day

Arts & Craft Building

This open space building can be used for a variety of events.  It is approximately 7,000 sq’ with a cement floor. It has a large overhead door on the north end, so you can easily load and unload. It has entrances on 3 sides of the building for great traffic flow. This is in the northern end of the fairgrounds, so there are ample roads and areas to park. This is a good building to consider for auctions, trade shows, presentations, etc.
 
Cost: $350/day

Secretaries Office

If you’re having a large event and/or need a place for reservations, check-in area, or a central place for information, the secretaries’ office is available.

Cost: $50/day

Camping

The Fulton County Fairgrounds offer campers 30 AMP electric service, clean showers and restrooms, water, and 2 modern dumping stations on site, dumping is included when camping on the grounds.
 
645 sites total, all of which have 30 Amp electric:

  • 45 sites – full hookup
  • 400 sites – water hook up
  • 200 sites – electric only

Cost: $20/site
